The Telangana government has suffered a setback after the High Court ordered a status quo on the land allotted for the proposed Cyberabad Municipal Corporation (CMC) building in Miyapur. The project, estimated at ₹161 crore, was recently inaugurated by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy.
The court issued the interim order following a dispute over the ownership of the land earmarked for the project. As a result, construction work has come to a halt. According to reports, officials are now exploring an alternative site for the CMC building while the legal proceedings continue.
