Telangana DGP CV Anand Smashes a Century in HCA League Match

Telangana DGP CV Anand showcased his cricketing skills in the HCA ‘C’ Division One-Day League Championship, representing Secunderabad Club. In the match played at Secunderabad Club on Sunday, the home side posted 328/7 in 39 overs. Anand played a stunning unbeaten knock of 126 off 82 balls, hitting 21 boundaries and five sixes. Jamshed contributed 77 runs, while Sanjeev Reddy scored 40.

During Hyderabad’s chase, the visitors reached 72/3 in 21.1 overs before rain interrupted play. With the match unable to resume, Secunderabad Club were declared winners under the VJD method. Anand also bowled five overs and conceded just eight runs. This was his first league appearance of the season after taking charge as Telangana DGP.
