Telangana Cabinet Meeting Under CM Revanth Reddy’s Chairmanship

The Telangana Cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, is scheduled to meet on October 1. The meeting is likely to discuss several key issues, including preparations for the Global Summit 2027, the takeover of Hyderabad Metro Phase-I, and the expansion and construction costs of Metro Phase-II. The Cabinet may also take up land acquisition for the next phase of the Musi Riverfront project following the completion of Phase-I. Discussions are also expected on the construction, funding and approvals related to the Regional Ring Road.

The distribution of Indiramma sarees and various issues concerning government employees, administration and welfare are also likely to come up for discussion. The Cabinet may consider decisions related to employees’ Dearness Allowance, Pay Revision Commission and payment of pending bills. The meeting is also expected to discuss the guidelines and launch date for the Rajiv Yuva Vikasam scheme. Several decisions concerning infrastructure, employee welfare and government schemes could be taken during the meeting.
