

The Telangana Cabinet is scheduled to meet today under the leadership of the Chief Minister to discuss several important issues concerning the state's development and administration. The meeting is expected to focus on preparations for the Global Summit 2027, the takeover of Hyderabad Metro Phase 1, and the proposed expansion of Metro Phase 2, including its construction costs. The Cabinet is also likely to deliberate on Phase 1 of the Musi River project, particularly the land acquisition process and related implementation measures.
The agenda is also expected to include discussions on the construction of the Regional Ring Road (RRR), funding requirements and pending approvals. Issues concerning government employees, including Dearness Allowance (DA), the Pay Revision Commission (PRC) and pending bills, are also likely to come up for discussion. In addition, the Cabinet may take decisions on the guidelines, implementation procedures and launch date of the Rajiv Yuva Vikasam scheme.
