Teachers Protest Against the Coalition Government

Teachers staged a protest near Vidya Bhavan in Vijayawada, demanding exemption from the TET for in-service teachers. A large number of teachers gathered in the city and attempted to lay siege to the Vidya Bhavan, leading to tense scenes in the area. Teacher associations urged the government to address their demands and provide relief to eligible in-service teachers.

Police stopped the protesting teachers as they attempted to move towards the Vidya Bhavan. Protesters alleged that several teachers were forcibly removed from the area and accused the police of behaving harshly towards them. The protest against the coalition government and the demand for a TET exemption have now become a major point of discussion in Andhra Pradesh.
