Andhra Pradesh Minister for Education, IT, and Electronics Nara Lokesh said the State Government considers teachers as leaders of social transformation and will provide special recognition to educators who deliver outstanding results. Speaking during an interaction with 37 teachers who recently returned from a study tour to Singapore at his Undavalli residence, the minister emphasised that quality education is the foundation for building a progressive society. The teachers shared their experiences from Singapore and discussed the possibilities of implementing innovative educational practices in Andhra Pradesh.
Lokesh stated that the Education Department would play a crucial role in achieving Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu's vision of Swarna Andhra. He highlighted the importance of introducing advanced technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Quantum Technology into the education system. He urged the teachers trained abroad to become "change-makers," mentor fellow educators, and lead reforms at the school, cluster, and mandal levels. Stressing the significance of the teacher-student-subject relationship, he called on teachers to actively contribute to transforming the state's education system.
