Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay to Offer Prayers at Indrakeeladri Tomorrow

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay is scheduled to visit Vijayawada on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, and offer prayers to Goddess Kanaka Durga at the famous temple atop Indrakeeladri. According to the reported itinerary, he is expected to visit the temple at around 4:30 p.m. Security personnel from the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister’s Office reached Indrakeeladri on Monday to inspect the arrangements and review the proposed route ahead of his visit.

The visit comes as Andhra Pradesh celebrates the Dasara Navaratri festivities at the Kanaka Durga temple and organises Vijayawada Utsav 2.0. TDP MPs from Andhra Pradesh had invited Vijay to attend the celebrations during their recent meeting with him in Chennai. MPs Kesineni Chinni, Lau Sri Krishna Devarayalu, Magunta Srinivasulu Reddy and G. M. Harish Balayogi were among those who met the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister. His visit is also expected to include official engagements with Andhra Pradesh leaders.
