A fresh controversy has emerged in Tamil Nadu over the composition of Chief Minister Vijay’s cabinet. The inclusion of two Brahmins and the allocation of the Endowments Department to the Brahmin community have sparked debate. Critics have alleged that ministerial portfolios were distributed based on caste and religion, triggering widespread political reactions.
Responding to the allegations, Minister Ramesh stated that the party remains committed to social justice. He clarified that neither he nor Deputy Speaker Ravishankar received votes based on caste, emphasizing that their victory was due to the leadership of Chief Minister Vijay. He firmly denied that positions were assigned on a caste basis.
