Talliki Vandanam Fund Distribution Begins

The Andhra Pradesh Government will begin disbursing funds under the ‘Talliki Vandanam’ welfare scheme from July 22. Eligible mothers of students studying from Class 1 to Intermediate will receive ₹13,000 each through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). Officials said the funds will be credited to beneficiaries' bank accounts in phases between July 22 and July 24.

Meanwhile, police have issued a strong warning against cyber fraudsters attempting to exploit the scheme through fake links and fraudulent messages. Beneficiaries have been advised not to click on suspicious links or install unknown apps claiming to facilitate fund transfers. Officials also urged the public never to share bank account details, ATM PINs, Aadhaar numbers, or OTPs. For any issues related to the scheme, beneficiaries should approach their Village/Ward Secretariat or school headmaster instead of relying on middlemen.
