Union Minister Suresh Gopi has strongly dismissed rumours circulating on social media and some media reports that he is planning to resign from his ministerial post. He clarified that such claims are completely baseless and described them as fictional stories being spread without verification.

Speculation had suggested that the minister was considering stepping down to focus on his film career and personal income, and that he had even discussed possible successors within the party. However, Suresh Gopi firmly rejected all such reports, stating that there is no truth in them.

Taking to Facebook, he responded sharply, saying he was the only person unaware of such a so-called resignation plan. He also warned against fake news creators, urging them to stop spreading misinformation. His strong clarification has effectively ended days of speculation.
