Supreme Court Seeks SIT Report on Ayodhya Donations

The Supreme Court has directed the Special Investigation Team (SIT) to submit a fresh report on the alleged misappropriation of donations collected in Ayodhya. The court sought details regarding the progress of the investigation and the composition of the SIT constituted by the Uttar Pradesh government.

The apex court also stated that petitions seeking a CBI investigation under its supervision into the alleged misuse of Ayodhya donations will be heard next week. The SIT has been asked to place its latest findings before the court ahead of the hearing.
