Supreme Court Hears Plea Over Tree Felling at KBR Park

The Supreme Court heard a matter concerning the alleged felling of trees in the KBR Park area of Banjara Hills, Hyderabad. The Telangana government’s counsel told the court that the state was not cutting trees in the park area. The petitioner sought additional time to file a counter to the affidavit submitted by the Telangana government.

Taking note of the request, the Supreme Court adjourned the matter to the 7th of next month. The proceedings are expected to continue on issues concerning the protection of trees and the green cover in and around KBR Park.
