North and Central Telangana are reeling under severe heatwave conditions as temperatures continue to soar across multiple districts. On Wednesday alone, 9 people reportedly died due to suspected heatstroke in various regions. The highest temperature was recorded in Nirmal district at 46.5°C, intensifying the severity of the situation.
Authorities have issued a red alert for the next two days, warning residents to take extreme precautions. The heatwave has severely affected daily life, especially in rural and semi-urban areas. Karimnagar district alone accounted for six deaths, highlighting the extreme impact of rising temperatures. Officials are monitoring the situation closely as heat conditions are expected to persist.
