Sudden Fire in Bus...Major Accident Averted

A major tragedy was averted in Prakasam district after a private bus caught fire on National Highway-16 near Bheemavaram Adda Road in Ulavapadu mandal. The Kavery Travels bus, traveling from Hyderabad to Tirupati, suddenly emitted smoke from the engine. The alert driver immediately stopped the bus and safely evacuated all 36 passengers.

Within minutes, the bus was engulfed in flames and completely gutted. Firefighters rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control. Passengers praised the driver’s quick response, which helped prevent a major disaster. Police have registered a case and initiated an investigation.
