Successful Hamsa Vahana Trial Run Conducted at Durga Ghat in Vijayawada

A trial run of the Hamsa Vahana float festival was successfully conducted at Durga Ghat in Vijayawada under the supervision of the Sri Durga Malleswara Swamy Varla Devasthanam. The trial was organised to assess the arrangements and ensure that the event proceeds smoothly and safely for devotees.

District Collector Dr. G. Lakshmisha, Police Commissioner S.V. Rajasekhar Babu, temple Executive Officer V.K. Seena Nayak, Sthanacharya Siva Prasad Sharma and officials from various departments observed the trial run. They reviewed operational arrangements, security measures and the precautions required to prevent inconvenience to devotees. Officials also stressed the importance of coordination among the departments concerned to ensure the smooth conduct of the float festival.
