The Monsoon Session of Parliament is expected to be politically significant, with the NDA government preparing to introduce several major legislations. These include the Women's Reservation Bill, constituency delimitation proposals, electoral reforms, constitutional amendment bills, and the proposed "One Nation, One Election" legislation. The session is likely to begin on July 20 and continue until August 13, with both Houses expected to function for 19 working days.
The Opposition INDIA alliance is gearing up to challenge the government over several national issues, including the NEET examination paper leak, the alleged Ayodhya donation controversy, rising fuel prices, inflation, and political defections. Several other important bills related to judicial reforms, anti-doping regulations, corporate law reforms, and FCRA amendments are also expected to be tabled during the session.
