

The Hanuman idol stolen from the Seventh Mile area of Tirumala has been recovered and is scheduled to be reinstalled in its original location. Acting on the directions of Tirupati District SP Subbarayudu, police formed 20 special teams and launched an intensive search operation. Within just 15 hours, the accused was traced and arrested at Ongole Railway Station, where the idol was also recovered with the assistance of alert Railway Police personnel.
Following the successful recovery, authorities transported the idol back to Tirupati on Wednesday night and completed arrangements for its reinstallation at Tirumala in the presence of devotees. The swift action by Tirupati Police has been widely appreciated, with many praising the coordinated efforts of the district police and railway authorities in solving the case within a remarkably short time.
