Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, along with Minister D. Sridhar Babu, held a video conference with Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia on the implementation of the T-Fiber project under the Amended BharatNet Programme (ABP). The discussions focused on strengthening digital infrastructure to provide high speed internet connectivity to every village and household in the state.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister raised key issues including the early signing of agreements, speeding up pending fund releases, and establishing a clear policy for asset transfer to the Digital Bharat Nidhi. The Union Minister responded positively and assured full support from the Central Government. The project aims to create a strong digital backbone across Telangana, with a ring based network ensuring uninterrupted connectivity. In the first phase, 3,089 villages across districts including Nizamabad, Rangareddy, and Khammam will be connected with upgraded fiber infrastructure.
