The Dasara celebrations commenced with religious fervour at the Srisailam temple. As part of the festivities, special pujas and Kumkumarchana rituals were performed to Goddess Bhramaramba Devi. In accordance with the Navadurga alankaram tradition, the processional deity of the Goddess was adorned in the Shailaputri form in the evening and presented for darshan to devotees. The temple premises took on a festive and spiritual atmosphere as devotees gathered to seek the Goddess’s blessings.
As part of the vahana seva, the processional deities of Lord Mallikarjuna Swamy and Goddess Bhramaramba Devi were placed on the Bhringi Vahanam at the Akkamahadevi Alankara Mandapam, where special pujas were performed. The village procession then moved through the main streets of Srisailam, accompanied by Nandiswara and traditional music. Special floral decorations and cultural programmes organised by the temple authorities added to the festive spirit and delighted devotees.
