Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Visits Goddess Durga Temple.. Offers Special Prayers!

Art of Living founder and spiritual leader Sri Sri Ravi Shankar visited the Sri Durga Malleswara Swamy Varla Devasthanam on Indrakeeladri in Vijayawada on Wednesday. Former MP Gokaraju Gangaraju also accompanied him and offered prayers. Temple chairman Borra Radhakrishna, Executive Officer V.K. Seena Naik and members of the temple trust board welcomed Sri Sri Ravi Shankar with traditional temple honours. The temple authorities made special arrangements for the visit.

Sri Sri Ravi Shankar and Gokaraju Gangaraju later had darshan of Goddess Kanaka Durga in the sanctum sanctorum and performed special prayers. Following the darshan, Vedic scholars blessed them with Vedic chants. Temple chairman Borra Radhakrishna and EO V.K. Seena Naik presented Sri Sri Ravi Shankar with the Goddess’s sacred garments, prasadam and a portrait of Kanaka Durga. Temple officials, trust board members and devotees attended the event.
