

Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy announced that the redevelopment works at the Sri Balabrahmeshwara–Jogulamba Railway Station in Telangana have been completed. The project was executed at a cost of ₹6.07 crore and has reached 100% completion. Developed with modern, world-class passenger amenities, the upgraded station is expected to provide improved travel facilities to devotees visiting the renowned Sri Balabrahmeshwara Swamy and Jogulamba Devi temples.

As part of the redevelopment, the platform was upgraded from Medium Level (ML) to High Level (HL), along with platform expansion, construction of an entrance arch and retaining wall, elevation work for the existing station building, and interior works for the new station building. The project also includes development of the circulating area, cover-over-platform facilities, drainage and drinking water supply. Kishan Reddy said the Centre, under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, is continuing to modernise railway infrastructure and strengthen connectivity across the country.
