In view of the festive season of Dussehra and Diwali, the Railways will operate special trains across the Telugu states to meet the expected rise in passenger demand. A special train between Charlapalli and Srikakulam will operate on October 6, 13, 20 and 27, and November 3, 10, 17 and 24. A special train between Secunderabad and Kakinada will also be operated tomorrow.
The Visakhapatnam–Bengaluru weekly express service will continue until November 25, while the Narsapur–Tiruvannamalai Express service will run until November 30. The additional services are intended to provide more travel options for passengers heading to their hometowns and other destinations during the festive period. The special trains are expected to help manage the increased rush at major railway stations.
