Special TET Notification for In-Service Teachers

The School Education Department has announced that the state government has approved the conduct of the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) twice exclusively for in-service teachers. Director of School Education Naveen Nicolas said the notification for the first special TET will be released on July 21, providing eligible teachers with an opportunity to qualify through a dedicated examination.

He further stated that the special TET examinations will be conducted from September 7 to September 11. The department clarified that there will be no changes to the existing syllabus or examination pattern, ensuring that the special TET will follow the same standards and evaluation process as the regular TET examination.
