The Election Commission has completed preparations for the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls, with the statewide voter verification survey commencing on Thursday and continuing until July 24. Booth Level Officers (BLOs) will conduct door-to-door visits, distributing two enumeration forms to every registered voter. While English forms will be issued in Hyderabad district, Telugu forms will be provided across the remaining districts. BLOs have been instructed to cover at least 50 households daily, ensuring that all 33.8 million voters in the state receive the forms.
Voters can submit the completed forms to BLOs on or before July 24 or fill them online through the Election Commission's voter portal. BLOs will visit every household at least three times and assist voters in completing the forms. Political parties have also deployed Booth Level Agents (BLAs) to coordinate with election officials during the verification process. More than 49,000 BLAs have already been registered, while thousands of election officials and supervisors have been deployed to ensure the smooth conduct of the revision exercise.
