South Central Railway statement

According to a South Central Railway statement, a fire was noticed in an empty coach of the Hyderabad–Jaipur Special Train. The incident occurred while the train was being placed on the platform at Hyderabad station at around 18:45 hrs, ahead of its scheduled departure at 19:50 hrs on 15.05.2026.

No passengers were present inside the train, and no injuries have been reported. Railway officials confirmed that the fire was brought under control immediately and the affected coaches were detached from the train. Authorities are further investigating the cause of the incident.
