Mudragada’s sons, Balu and Giribabu, stated that their father stood as a symbol of self-respect and strong personality. They said he had clearly instructed them on how his last rites should be conducted. According to his wishes, the funeral was carried out without any official state honors, as he had explicitly declined government protocols. They also expressed gratitude to Y. S. They further clarified that their family had no contact with Barlapudi Kranti’s family for several years, and it was Mudragada’s own decision that she should not attend his final rites.
