Sonam Wangchuk's Hunger Strike Enters Day 17

Social reformer and educationist Sonam Wangchuk has entered the 17th day of his indefinite hunger strike. Amid growing concerns over his health, advocate Rakesh Kumar has filed a petition before the Delhi High Court, requesting immediate directions to shift Wangchuk to a hospital for medical care.

The petition is scheduled to come up for hearing before the Delhi High Court on July 15. The plea argues that continuous fasting could seriously affect Wangchuk's health and seeks timely medical intervention while legal proceedings continue.
