Social activist Sonam Wangchuk’s indefinite hunger strike at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar has entered its ninth day, prompting growing concerns over his health. Supporters continue to monitor his condition closely as the protest progresses, with many urging authorities to address the issues raised through the agitation.
According to a health update shared by the Campaign for Justice and Peace (CJP) on X, Wangchuk’s blood pressure was recorded at 107/67 mmHg, while his blood glucose level stood at 72 mg/dL. The update also stated that he has lost 6.9 kilograms since beginning his indefinite fast, highlighting the physical impact of the prolonged protest.
