SIR Process Begins in Five States from Today

The Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process has begun today in five states. The exercise is being implemented in Delhi, Karnataka, Meghalaya, Maharashtra, and Jharkhand.

The process will continue until July 29. The draft electoral roll will be released on August 5, followed by the final voter list on October 10.
