Shravana Saturday Remedies: These Shiva Pujas May Offer Relief From Shani Doshas

Shravana month is considered auspicious for the worship of Lord Shiva, Goddess Lakshmi and several other deities. Saturdays during this month are regarded as especially significant for worshipping Lord Shani along with Lord Shiva. According to traditional astrology, people facing Sade Sati, Ashtama Shani or other Shani-related doshas may observe special prayers and rituals on Shravana Saturdays.

Devotees can visit a nearby Shiva temple and perform an abhishekam with Ganga water or coconut water. Lighting a sesame-oil lamp, applying sandalwood and sacred ash to the Shiva Lingam, and offering black sesame, Shami leaves, blue flowers, oleander flowers and jaggery are among the practices mentioned in traditional beliefs. Reciting Shiva Ashtakam, Shiva Sahasranama and Lingashtakam, as well as chanting the Panchakshari mantra, is also considered auspicious. Devotees may also perform Rudrabhishekam at a Shiva temple according to their tradition.
