Shravan Month Festivities Begin at Srisailam Mallanna Temple From Today

The Shravan month festivities at the Srisailam Mallikarjuna Swamy Temple in Nandyal district will be held from today until September 12. As part of the celebrations, Akhanda Shiva Nama Bhajans will be conducted throughout the month for the welfare of the world. The temple authorities have announced that Arjitha Abhishekam and Kumkumarchana services will remain suspended for 19 days during the Shravan month. Morning Garbhalaya Abhishekam will also be suspended on Tuesdays falling on August 18, September 1 and September 8.

On Shravan Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, Mondays and Pournami days, only 250 tickets will be issued for one batch of Sparsha Darshan at 8:30 PM. On other days, except peak-rush days, Sparsha Darshan will continue in three batches. Collective and Garbhalaya Abhishekams and Kumkumarchanas will continue as usual. Free collective Varalakshmi Vratham will also be conducted on the second, third and fourth Fridays of the Shravan month.
