A major twist has emerged in the Gade Saikrishna missing case in Andhra Pradesh. The Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the case found that crucial CCTV footage connected to the disappearance has gone missing. Officials discovered that recordings from May 1 to June 1, which are considered important to the investigation, were deleted from the system.
According to the SIT, only two days of footage remain, while the rest of the recordings have been erased. The court had earlier directed authorities to preserve the month long CCTV footage safely. Investigators suspect that the footage may have been deleted to destroy evidence. The SIT is now working with data recovery experts to restore the deleted footage and has intensified the investigation.
