Shocking Incident in Sri Sathya Sai District

A brutal murder took place in the premises of the Kadiri Area Hospital in Sri Sathya Sai district. Gangaraju, a resident of Edulapalli in Mudigubba mandal, allegedly killed his wife Sunitha (32) by slitting her throat. According to police, the couple had a dispute during which he assaulted her. Injured Sunitha was brought to the Kadiri Government Hospital by family members for treatment.

Taking advantage of the situation, Gangaraju reportedly convinced his wife to step out of the women’s ward, saying he would shift her to a private hospital for better treatment. Once outside, he attacked her with a knife and killed her on the spot. Kadiri Town CI Narayana Reddy, along with his team, rushed to the hospital upon receiving information and took the accused into custody.
