Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s foreign visit has once again become a topic of political discussion. His reported departure abroad has drawn attention as protests against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar and the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls continue in Delhi. When reporters asked Thiruvananthapuram MP Shashi Tharoor why Rahul had travelled abroad during the protests, Tharoor responded sarcastically.
“I am not a travel agent. There is no point asking me that question. Why have I left Delhi and come here now? Everyone has certain responsibilities. I do not wish to comment on this,” Tharoor said. Meanwhile, the BJP has criticised Rahul over his reported foreign trip amid the protests in Delhi. The party also posted a video on X, claiming that Rahul Gandhi was aboard a flight to Vietnam.
