Shamshabad Airport on High Alert

Security has been tightened at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Shamshabad ahead of Independence Day on August 15. Special security arrangements involving the CISF and local police will remain in place until August 31. Authorities have increased surveillance around the terminal and parking areas to ensure the safety of passengers and airport operations.

Bomb detection teams and dog squads are conducting intensive checks across the terminal and parking areas. Visitor passes have been suspended as part of the heightened security measures. Every vehicle entering the airport premises is being thoroughly checked before being allowed inside.
