Shah Rukh Khan’s Mannat Gets a Major Makeover

Shah Rukh Khan’s iconic sea-facing residence Mannat in Mumbai’s Bandra has been undergoing major renovation and redevelopment. The proposed expansion involves adding two floors to the annexe, increasing the property’s built-up area by 616.02 square metres. The project is estimated to cost around ₹25 crore. As Mannat is a heritage property located close to the sea, the redevelopment has involved Coastal Regulation Zone-related approvals. The Supreme Court dismissed a challenge to the CRZ clearance in July, allowing the approved renovation plans to proceed.

The redevelopment is not limited to Mannat. Shah Rukh Khan’s first property in Mumbai, a sea-facing flat in Shree Amrit Society on Carter Road, Bandra, is also being redeveloped. Khan reportedly purchased the property in 1991, shortly after marrying Gauri Khan. The redeveloped property is expected to give him a larger 4BHK apartment of around 2,800 square feet.

Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan is gearing up for his upcoming action thriller King, directed by Siddharth Anand. The film stars Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan, alongside a larger ensemble cast, and is scheduled for a theatrical release on December 24, 2026.
