Seven Indian merchant ships have been stranded near the Strait of Hormuz as escalating regional tensions have disrupted maritime movement through one of the world's busiest shipping routes. The vessels have been unable to cross the strategic waterway due to security concerns arising from the prevailing situation in the region.
According to official information, all 148 Indian sailors aboard the seven vessels are safe. The Central Government is closely monitoring developments and maintaining regular coordination with the concerned authorities and maritime agencies to ensure the safety of the crew and facilitate the movement of the ships once conditions improve.
