Searches at DMK Leader K.N. Nehru’s Residences

The Tamil Nadu Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption (DVAC) conducted simultaneous searches at 19 locations linked to senior DMK leader K.N. Nehru. The searches are reportedly part of an investigation into alleged irregularities during his tenure in the Municipal Administration and Water Supply (MAWS) Department.

The searches are focused on allegations of irregularities in government job appointments, transfers and tender processes in the department. Officials carried out the inspections simultaneously across the identified locations as part of the ongoing probe.
