School Van Hit by Train in Murshidabad

A tragic rail accident occurred in Murshidabad district of West Bengal after a passenger train collided with a school van at a railway crossing. The accident claimed the lives of three people, including two school students, while five other students sustained injuries.

According to preliminary reports, the accident occurred because the railway gate was reportedly left open when the school van attempted to cross the tracks. The injured students were shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment, while authorities have launched an investigation into the incident.
