Saudi Coalition Strikes Houthi Targets in Yemen

The Saudi-led coalition has carried out a major military operation against Houthi targets in Yemen, destroying 82 military sites across the provinces of Saada, Al-Hudaydah, Al-Jawf and Marib, according to the coalition. The strikes targeted ballistic missile storage facilities, command and control centres, communications systems, weapons depots and other military positions.

The operation came in response to recent Houthi attacks on Saudi civilian infrastructure, including airports in Riyadh and Abha. Coalition spokesperson Maj. Gen. Turki Al-Malki said attacks targeting civilians and civilian facilities would not go unanswered. The latest strikes mark a significant escalation in the renewed conflict in Yemen.
