Satyendar Jain Arrested in STP Tender Case

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and former Delhi minister Satyendar Jain has been arrested by the Anti Corruption Branch (ACB) in connection with an alleged ₹152 crore corruption case. The allegations relate to irregularities in sewage treatment plant (STP) tenders. The ACB has reportedly traced a money trail involving alleged bribes and is investigating Jain’s role in the tender process.

The ACB has also arrested five other people along with Jain in connection with the case. The investigation is focused on alleged irregularities and manipulation in the STP tender process and the suspected financial transactions linked to the case. The arrested accused are expected to be produced before a court as the investigation progresses.
