Sai Krishna Lockup Death Case: Home Guard Venkataraju Arrested by SIT

A fresh development has emerged in the Sai Krishna lockup death case, with the Special Investigation Team (SIT) arresting Home Guard Venkataraju. According to the investigation, Venkataraju is accused of allegedly destroying CCTV footage and the DVR at Krishnalanka Police Station after Sai Krishna was brought to the station. The arrest is part of the ongoing probe into the circumstances surrounding Sai Krishna’s death in custody.

Following his arrest, SIT officials shifted Venkataraju to a government hospital for a medical examination. He is expected to be produced before the court after the medical formalities are completed. The SIT is continuing its investigation into the alleged destruction of evidence and other circumstances surrounding the case.
