Sai Krishna Case: Mother Files High Court Petition Seeking CBI Investigation

Sai Krishna’s mother, Vijayalakshmi, has approached the High Court seeking a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe into her son's disappearance case. In her petition, she requested the court to personally monitor the investigation, alleging that the current probe has failed to uncover the complete truth. She also made serious allegations against senior officials of the Vijayawada Police Commissionerate, claiming they were aware of her son's disappearance but failed to take timely action.

The petition states that the FIR was registered only 45 days after she lodged her complaint and alleges that the arrest of CI Nagaraju was merely an eyewash. Vijayalakshmi further claimed that the government-appointed SIT has not exposed the alleged conspiracy and is attempting to close the case without identifying all those responsible. She urged the High Court to intervene and order a CBI investigation. The petition is likely to come up for hearing on Monday.
