Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy extended his heartfelt greetings to the people of the state on the occasion of Saddula Bathukamma, a festival that represents Telangana’s rich culture, traditions and love for nature. He said the nine-day floral festival reflects the state’s cultural heritage and way of life, as women arrange colourful flowers into Bathukamma formations, offer prayers to Goddess Gauramma and celebrate with traditional songs and dances.
The Chief Minister noted that Bathukamma is more than a flower festival, symbolising women’s unity, dignity, respect for nature and the preservation of cultural traditions. He emphasised the collective responsibility of passing this precious heritage from one generation to the next. Revanth Reddy wished that Saddula Bathukamma would bring happiness to every household, prosperity and peace to families, and joy and confidence to the women of Telangana. He also expressed hope that the state’s cultural legacy would continue to flourish and reach people across the world.
