Rising Flood Inflows in Godavari..

Flood inflows into the Godavari River are steadily increasing, with the water level at Bhadrachalam reaching 40 feet. The water level at Kunavaram has risen to 14.8 metres, while it has reached 9.98 metres at Polavaram. Authorities are closely monitoring the flood situation across the Godavari basin as the river continues to witness rising inflows.

Flood discharge is also continuing at the Dowleswaram Barrage. Both the inflow and outflow at the barrage have been recorded at 5.61 lakh cusecs. With floodwaters continuing to flow in from the upstream areas, officials are keeping a close watch on the situation and advising people in low-lying areas along the river basin to remain alert.
