

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has announced an ambitious target to operationalize the Warangal and Adilabad airports by June 2, 2028. During meetings with Union Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu in New Delhi, the Chief Minister sought full cooperation from the Centre to expedite the airport projects. He stressed the importance of strengthening aviation infrastructure to support Telangana's rapid economic growth.
The Chief Minister said the proposed airports would be developed to international standards, with the Warangal airport showcasing the region's rich Kakatiya heritage. He also highlighted Telangana's significant contribution to the country's GDP and emphasized close coordination between the Central and State governments. The discussions took place during the ongoing Parliament session as part of a broader effort to accelerate key infrastructure projects.
