

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy visited the Sammakka-Saralamma Gaddes in Medaram, Mulugu district, and offered prayers to the tribal deities. Priests welcomed the Chief Minister with traditional drum beats, reflecting the region’s tribal customs and traditions. Revanth Reddy offered bangaram, sarees, turmeric and kumkum to the forest deities and performed the rituals. Ministers Seethakka, Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy and Adluri Laxman Kumar, TPCC president Mahesh Goud and local representatives accompanied him.
Minister Seethakka tied rakhi to the Chief Minister and other ministers in the presence of the tribal deities. Earlier, ministers, MLAs and officials welcomed Revanth Reddy at the Medaram helipad. During his visit, the Chief Minister is scheduled to inaugurate and lay foundation stones for several development projects in the district. He will also distribute sanction letters to beneficiaries of Aasara pensions.
