Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy participated in a Special Intensive Revision (SIR) review meeting with local leaders and Booth Level Agents (BLAs) in Kodangal. During the meeting, he submitted his voter verification form to the Booth Level Officer (BLO) and urged party workers to ensure that every eligible voter completes the verification process before the deadline. He said the leadership opportunity he received was possible because of the support of the people and party workers of Kodangal.
Revanth Reddy alleged that the BJP and BRS were attempting to weaken the Congress by removing the names of its supporters from the electoral rolls, particularly those belonging to SC, ST and minority communities. He called on party workers to visit every household, assist eligible voters in completing the verification process and ensure 100% voter roll revision in Kodangal by the end of the month. According to him, 1,96,620 voter records have been verified so far, while 54,635 voters are yet to complete the process.
