Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy met AICC General Secretary KC Venugopal in New Delhi as the Congress high command focused on recent developments in the state unit. The meeting lasted for more than an hour, with discussions reportedly covering the government’s performance, recent political developments and key issues within the party. The possibility of a Cabinet reshuffle and filling nominated posts was also reportedly discussed.
Meanwhile, Minister Konda Surekha reached Delhi after being called by the Congress high command. She is expected to meet KC Venugopal and has also sought an appointment with AICC president Mallikarjun Kharge. The developments come after the TPCC disciplinary committee issued a show-cause notice to Surekha over remarks made by her daughter Susmitha. The TPCC has already submitted reports concerning Surekha and Planning Commission Vice-Chairman Chinna Reddy to the high command, increasing anticipation over the next steps.
