Revanth Focuses on Skills, Jobs and Minority Welfare

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy said education should not end with traditional degrees and stressed the importance of skilling, upskilling and reskilling for better employment opportunities. Speaking at the Minority Excellence Summit at Adivasi Bhavan on Thursday, he said the changing global job market is creating growing demand for skilled professionals. He noted that countries such as Germany, Japan, South Korea, China and Taiwan offer significant opportunities for skilled workers. The government is therefore focusing on skill development through the Skill University and by linking polytechnic education with industry oriented training.

Revanth Reddy said the government was working to help minority youth progress from Taleem to Taraqqi (education to development). He highlighted the achievements of students from minority families who have reached positions such as government officials, engineers, IAS and IPS officers and lawyers. He assured people that the government would stand by them during difficult times and mentioned financial assistance for Haj pilgrims and immediate support to families affected by accidents. He also urged minority voters in Hyderabad and Rangareddy to remain alert about voter list discrepancies and asked young people to verify their family members’ names. He called on everyone to protect their voting rights and said that each person should become a “Revanth Reddy” when necessary.
